An Example of the Use of A Biometric System and the Implications

British Broadcasting Corporation also known as the BBC is an organisation which uses blogs. For many categories and some of the employees, they have blogs in which they discuss topics related to them. For instance there is the Scottish Symphony Orchestra Blog where they discuss updates on events e.t.c.

The benefits of having the blogs in an organisation such as this is that people are updated on the subjects that relate to them. For example if an individual is interested in the Scottish Symphony Orchestra, then he or she can just go into that blog and will be find information related to the orchestra only. Therefore, information is interesting and precise.

A disadvantages of having a blog in an organisation is if an employee somehow gets the freedom of placing anything on his or her blog, it could become a disastrous for the company if that person does not keep it professional. Bloggers may have biased opinions which could lead to followers disliking someone in the company. This could bring the organisation down.
